The Shotover F1 camera system is the ultimate creative film tool for aerial cinematography. 
Its unique construction and open architecture design allows for the installation of over 190 different digital camera and lens combinations. This means you can shoot with virtually any of the top cameras from Arri, Red and Sony etc. 
The F1 system is equipped with unmatched 6-axis gyro stabilisation and the ability to look straight down while remaining fully controllable and jitter free.

UNIQUE BY DESIGN

The system is compact and lightweight yet can accommodate and stabilise over 190 different camera and lens combinations. We have the capability to mount the latest cameras including Arri Mini LF, Arri 35, Red V-Raptor and Sony Venice 1 & 2.

The F1 system delivers unshakeable image stability thanks to its unique 6 axis gyro stabilisation. It can also look straight down while remaining fully controllable, providing the ultimate in creativity.

INCREDIBLE FLEXIBILITY

No other aerial camera system of its size and weight offers the incredible flexibility of the Shotover F1. The system can be fitted with many different cameras and lenses to suit broadcast, movie production and still image photography.

CAMERAS

The F1 can accept all of the most popular digital cinema cameras: Arri Alexa Mini/LF/35, Red V-Raptor, all Red DSM2 models and Sony Venice 1 & 2. We have the Red Helium 8K Epic-W and Arri Alexa Mini cameras in house. We offer our Semote camera controller for solid operation of all the above cameras.

LENSES

The Shotover F1 can be equipped with a wide variety of both spherical and anamorphic zooms or primes from Angenieux, Canon, Cooke, Fujinon, Zeiss and many more. Please check with us for compatibility. We have the Canon CN-E30-300 and CN-E14.5-60 lenses in house.

ADAPTABLE

PDG's F1 camera system can be fitted with many different accessories including a motorised polariser. The system can be used open face or with weather sealed glass front or with a Rain Spinner/deflector that allows the system to keep filming even in driving rain.
